Highly Anticipated Punjabi Film ‘Rose Rosy Te Gulab’ Postponed in India Due to Election Concerns

Lead actor Gurnam Bhullar revealed in a video that the highly anticipated Punjabi film “Rose Rosy Te Gulab” has been postponed in India due to concerns related to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The delay is attributed to Karamjit Anmol, an integral part of the film who is also contesting in the elections. The decision to postpone the release in India aims to avoid potential violations of electoral codes and maintain the integrity of the election process.

Bhullar emphasized that both the censor board and the election commission are against the film’s release before the Punjab elections scheduled for June 1, 2024. He clarified that the video does not support any political party. The entire cast of “Rose Rosy Te Gulab” had been actively promoting the film, but they now must regroup and channel the same energy once the new release date is announced. However, despite the postponement in India, international audiences can still anticipate enjoying the film on May 24, 2024.

“Rose Rosy Te Gulab” is a romantic comedy featuring a stellar cast, including Bhullar, Maahi Sharma, Pranjal Dahiya, and others. Directed by renowned filmmaker Manvir Brar and written by Preet Sanghreri, the film promises a delightful blend of humor, romance, and drama. The team hopes for understanding and support from fans of Punjabi cinema amidst this unwanted delay and remains optimistic about a successful release in India following the elections.
