The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) announced the Class 12 results on May 21, 2024. Students can check their results on the official websites: mahresult.nic.in, hscresult.mahahsscboard.in, results.digilocker.gov.in, mahahsscboard.in, msbshse.co.in, and hscresult.mkcl.org. The overall pass percentage for this year is 93.37%, with Konkan emerging as the top-performing division at 97.91%, while Mumbai had the lowest pass rate at 91.95%.
A total of 1,433,331 students registered for the exam, with 1,423,923 appearing and 1,329,684 passing. In terms of streams, the Science stream recorded the highest pass percentage at 97.82%, followed by Commerce at 92.18%, Vocational at 87.75%, ITI at 87.69%, and Arts at 85.88%. Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 95.44% compared to 91.60% for boys.
For students who did not pass, the board will conduct supplementary exams in June-July, with registration starting on May 27. Additionally, students unsatisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation from May 22 to June 5. Applications for photocopies of answer sheets will be accepted from May 26 to June 14.
To check results, students need their roll number and their mother’s first name. They can access their results by visiting the provided websites, navigating to the HSC result page, entering the required details, and downloading their scorecards. The official results were made available online from 1 PM on May 21, following the announcement during a press conference earlier in the day.
