The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has released a new CCTV video featuring AAP MP Swati Maliwal amidst the controversy surrounding her allegation of assault at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s house. The purported video shows Maliwal being escorted by security personnel out of the chief minister’s house.
According to the AAP, the video depicts Maliwal walking calmly with security personnel on May 13, without any signs of a limp. The party alleges that Maliwal was seen limping in another video released later, four days after the incident, raising questions about the authenticity of her claims.
The AAP also claims that Maliwal appeared to be walking without any assistance, contrary to the details provided in her FIR. The party questions the inconsistencies, asking, “What is this game?”
This is the second video released by the AAP in connection with the alleged assault. In the previous clip, Maliwal was seen arguing with security personnel at Kejriwal’s residence.
AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj alleges that Maliwal is in contact with BJP leaders as part of a conspiracy against Kejriwal and the AAP. He further asserts that the version of events presented by Maliwal may not be entirely true, pending the scrutiny of CCTV footage from the CM’s residence by the Delhi Police.
