Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking at a rally in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, accused the INDIA alliance of intending to create instability in the country if they win the Lok Sabha elections. He asserted that the Samajwadi Party (SP) and Congress would demolish the Ram temple in Ayodhya if they come to power, suggesting they should take lessons from UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on the proper use of bulldozers.
Modi emphasized the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) commitment to national betterment, contrasting it with the alleged disruptive intentions of the INDIA bloc. He predicted that the BJP would win three consecutive Lok Sabha elections, achieving a hat-trick.
In a jibe at SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, Modi remarked on Yadav’s alliance with Mamata Banerjee, calling her his new “aunt.” He also warned that Congress might reverse the Supreme Court’s Ayodhya verdict, drawing parallels to historical events where unexpected political decisions were made.
Modi’s remarks come amid his ongoing media engagements, where he has consistently avoided communal rhetoric, affirming in a recent News18 interview that he would never use “Hindu-Muslim” issues in politics.
