WBCHSE West Bengal HS Result 2024: Updates and Important Information

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) is set to announce the Class 12 Higher Secondary (HS) 2024 examination results on May 8. The exams were conducted from February 16 to February 29, and the results will be declared at a press conference at 1:00 p.m. Following the announcement, the scorecards will be available for download on the official websites wbchse.wb.gov.in and wbresults.nic.in at 3:00 p.m.

Students can also check their results via SMS by sending their roll number to 5676750 or 58888, depending on their carrier. The grading system for the WB HS Class 12 results includes distinctions for scores between 100 to 90, A grade for scores between 89 to 70, and various divisions for lower scores.

Over 7.8 lakh students appeared for the exams, and they need to attain a minimum of 30 percent marks in each subject to pass. The mark sheets will be provisional and can be collected from designated distribution centers from May 10 onwards.

To check the results, students need their roll number and date of birth, which they can use on the official websites. The results will include details such as the candidate’s name, stream, subjects, marks scored, total marks, percentage, qualifying status, and rank.

The announcement comes amid anticipation after last year’s overall pass percentage of 89.25%. Students are advised to keep track of the official websites for the latest updates and to access their results promptly.
