TN HSE Class 12 Results 2024 Declared: Pass Criteria and Statistics Revealed

The Tamil Nadu School Education Board has officially announced the TN HSE Class 12 Results 2024 today, on May 6. Students can access their scorecards via the Board’s official website at tnresults.nic.in.

The Class 12 board examinations for Tamil Nadu students took place from March 22 to April 13, with the evaluation process concluding on April 13. This year, a total of 7.5 lakh students appeared for the exams.

To successfully pass the Tamil Nadu Class 12th exams, students must secure a minimum of 35 marks in each theory subject out of 100. Additionally, for subjects with practical components, a minimum of 70 marks in theory, 20 marks in practicals, and 10 marks in internal assessment are required.

Last year, amid Covid-19 protocols, the Tamil Nadu Class 12th board exams were conducted from March 13 to April 3, 2023. The results, declared by the Directorate of Government Examinations, showcased an overall pass rate of 94.03%. Notably, girls surpassed boys with a pass percentage of 96.38% compared to 91.45%. Out of the 8,03,385 students who appeared, 7,55,451 successfully passed. The 2023 results also witnessed a significant increase in the number of girls passing, with a rise of 4.93 percentage points. Additionally, one transgender candidate cleared the exam, highlighting inclusivity in the education system.
