Prime Suspect in Sidhu Moosewala Murder Case Fatally Shot in US

Goldy Brar, the prime suspect in the murder case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, has been fatally shot in the US, according to media reports. Brar, declared a terrorist by the Home Ministry, was attacked by unknown assailants in Fairmont and Holt Avenue around 5:25 pm on Tuesday. Standing outside a house with a friend, Brar was suddenly targeted, and the assailants fled the scene after opening fire. Both Brar and his friend were rushed to the hospital, where Brar succumbed to his injuries.

While official confirmation is pending, sources suggest that Brar’s rivals, identified as Arsh Dalla and Lakhbir, have claimed responsibility for the attack, citing longstanding animosity. The rivalry stems from Moosewala’s murder in Jawaharke village of Mansa on May 29, 2022. Initially, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for Moosewala’s murder, but Brar later confessed to the crime during a televised interview. He cited Moosewala’s alleged involvement in the killing of Lawrence’s associate, Vicky Midukhera, as the motive. Brar admitted to masterminding the murder and purportedly dispatched six gunmen from Haryana and Punjab to execute the plan.
