Parineeti Chopra recently shared insights into her whirlwind romance with politician Raghav Chadha, revealing that she made the decision to marry him within just five minutes of their first encounter. Speaking on Raj Shamani’s YouTube channel, Chopra reminisced about their initial meeting at an event in London, where she impulsively suggested they meet for breakfast. Despite not knowing much about Chadha at the time, Chopra felt an instant connection and quickly realized they were meant to be together.
Their wedding, held on September 24 the previous year at The Leela Palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan, was a private affair attended by close family and friends, including Chopra’s aunt, Madhu Chopra, and prominent figures like Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann. Raghav Chadha, associated with the Aam Aadmi Party, exchanged vows with Chopra in a ceremony that captured hearts and headlines alike.
Chopra, who garnered acclaim for her performance in Imitiaz Ali’s “Amar Singh Chamkila” opposite Diljit Dosanjh, continues to shine onscreen, portraying the role of Amarjot Kaur in the musical biopic. The film is available for streaming on Netflix, adding another feather to Chopra’s illustrious career.
