Key Details Emerge in Missing Actor Gurucharan Singh Case

The Delhi Police’s initial investigation into the disappearance of actor Gurucharan Singh, known for his role as Sodhi in “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah,” has unveiled crucial findings. According to sources, Singh, who was soon to be married, was grappling with financial difficulties. Additionally, investigators discovered that Singh withdrew ₹7,000 from an ATM in Delhi, with his last known location traced to Palam on April 24, where he was captured on CCTV footage carrying a backpack. Despite his scheduled flight to Mumbai on April 22, Singh was spotted at a traffic intersection in Palam, leaving his whereabouts shrouded in mystery.

Concerns among fans and well-wishers have mounted over Singh’s abrupt disappearance. His father lodged a complaint with the Delhi Police when Singh failed to reach Mumbai as planned. DCP South West Delhi, Rohit Meena, confirmed the registration of a case under Section 365 of the IPC and assured a thorough investigation, including scrutiny of CCTV footage.

Despite efforts, Singh, 50, remains untraceable, and his phone remains unreachable. His father emphasized that Singh was not in a distressed state before his disappearance, leaving the reasons behind his vanishing act unclear.

Singh, celebrated for his comedic performances in the popular television series, bid farewell to “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah” some years ago. As investigations continue, concerns for his well-being persist among his loved ones and the entertainment community.
