Fahadh Faasil’s “Aavesham” Opens to Decent Box Office Collections

The Malayalam film “Aavesham,” featuring Fahadh Faasil in the lead role and directed by Jithu Madhavan, made a solid start at the box office on its first day of release. According to a report by Sacnilk.com, the film garnered an estimated ₹3.26 crore nett in India on Thursday.

“Aavesham” witnessed a commendable overall occupancy rate of 73.57 percent across Malayalam cinema halls on its opening day. The morning shows recorded a 62.97 percent occupancy, followed by 73.67 percent for afternoon shows, 78.85 percent for evening shows, and 78.78 percent for night shows. Notably, the film performed exceptionally well in Hyderabad, with an impressive 94 percent overall occupancy.

Directed by Jithu Madhavan and produced by Anwar Rasheed Entertainments, as well as Fahadh Faasil and Friends, “Aavesham” boasts a talented cast including Fahadh Faasil, Ashish Vidyarthi, Mansoor Ali Khan, and Sajin Gopu in pivotal roles. The film has garnered positive reviews from both audiences and critics, particularly applauding Fahadh Faasil’s portrayal of the character Ranga and Sajin’s performance as Amban.

The storyline of “Aavesham” revolves around three college students who find themselves caught up in unforeseen circumstances. Fahadh Faasil portrays the role of an eccentric don based in Bengaluru, adding layers of intrigue to the narrative.
