Satinder Sartaaj stole the spotlight at the national-level Holi Utsav held in Sujanpur with his enchanting performance during the final cultural evening. The renowned singer captivated the audience with renditions of his most popular songs, including ‘Kitte ni tera rutba ghatda, je has ke bula lave kidhre’, ‘Lawan ishqe de ambre udarian’, and ‘Pyar huna fullan to malook sonya’. His performance, which lasted about two hours, left the audience spellbound and thoroughly entertained.
Adding to the evening’s charm was Harmony of Pines, the orchestra band of the Himachal Pradesh Police, which showcased a diverse array of musical flavors ranging from Himachali folk to Bollywood hits and Punjabi tracks. The band’s performance further heightened the festive atmosphere, captivating the audience with its melodious tunes.
However, managing the enthusiastic crowd proved to be a challenge for the police, as attendees rushed towards the stage to join in the festivities and dance along with the performers.
Earlier in the evening, the Holi Utsav was formally concluded with a religious procession and a visit to the exhibitions organized by various departments, overseen by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC). Despite the conclusion of the official festivities, the vibrant atmosphere and business activities at Sujanpur Chaugan are expected to continue for the next 15 days as per tradition, ensuring that the spirit of celebration lingers on.
