Bollywood fans are in for a treat as the much-anticipated sequel to the 2019 romantic comedy “De De Pyaar De” has officially been announced. Titled “De De Pyaar De 2,” the film is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2025. The announcement came through the official T-Series handle, revealing that Ajay Devgn will be reprising his role in this sequel.
Directed by Anshul Sharma, the movie is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Luv Ranjan, and Ankur Garg. Luv Ranjan, who co-wrote and co-produced the original film, is set to continue his creative involvement in the sequel. While Ajay Devgn is confirmed to make a comeback, there’s suspense regarding the return of Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh, who played pivotal roles in the first installment.
“De De Pyaar De” directed by Luv Ranjan followed the story of Aashish Mehra (Ajay Devgn), a 50-year-old NRI investor navigating the complexities of love and relationships.
