Rihanna to Perform at Anant Ambani’s Pre-Wedding Celebration for £5 Million
International R&B sensation Rihanna is set to perform at the pre-wedding celebration of Anant Ambani, son of Indian business tycoon Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Rihanna is reportedly being paid a whopping £5 million (₹52 crore) for her performance at the star-studded event. The entire celebration, organized by the Ambani family, is estimated to cost £120 million, with catering alone accounting for £20 million.
Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding bash has drawn an impressive guest list, including Bollywood celebrities Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Amitabh Bachchan, among others. International personalities like Bill Gates and Indian billionaires Gautam Adani and Kumar Mangalam Birla are also expected to attend, along with cricketers and politicians.
The pre-wedding festivities commenced with an ‘anna seva,’ where the couple and their families served food to approximately 51,000 local residents in a philanthropic gesture. The celebrations will continue with various events, with the main festivities titled ‘An Evening in Everland’ taking place on Friday.
Rihanna’s performance adds to the grandeur of the Ambani family’s celebrations, following Beyoncé’s performance at Isha Ambani’s wedding in 2018. Fans are eagerly anticipating videos from the event, marking Rihanna’s return to the stage after her last performance at the 2023 Super Bowl while she was pregnant.
