In a heartwarming union that has captured the attention of people worldwide, 103-year-old freedom fighter Habib Nazar recently tied the knot with 49-year-old Firoz Jahan in a nikah ceremony held in the Itwara region of Bhopal. The viral video of the couple returning home following their ceremony has resonated with many, shedding light on the pursuit of companionship in the later years of life.
After the passing of his second wife, Nazar expressed feelings of loneliness, prompting him to embark on his third marriage. Nazar’s first marriage took place in Maharashtra’s Nashik, followed by a second marriage in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow. Despite the age gap, Nazar remarked, “Kisi cheez ki kami nahi hai. Kami hamare dilon mein hai. [I don’t feel a shortage of anything. I only feel loneliness].”

Firoz Jahan, in her second marriage, made it clear that her decision to marry the 103-year-old was entirely her own, motivated by compassion and the realization that Nazar needed care and companionship. “My husband is absolutely fine and has no medical issues,” she affirmed, emphasizing the importance of mutual understanding and support in their unique journey.
The couple officially married last year, but it wasn’t until the recently circulated video that their heartwarming story gained widespread attention. In a world often filled with challenges, their union serves as a testament to the enduring power of love and companionship across generations.
