Amitabh Bachchan Invests in Ayodhya’s Spiritual Oasis: The Sarayu

Renowned Bollywood superstar, Amitabh Bachchan, has ventured into the heart of Ayodhya by acquiring a 10,000 sqft plot in The Sarayu, a prestigious development by Mumbai-based developer, The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL). Industry insiders estimate the value of the plot at ₹14.5 crore. The Sarayu, sprawling over 51 acres, is set to be unveiled on January 22, coinciding with the grand consecration ceremony of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the project, Mr. Bachchan stated, “I am looking forward to embark on this journey with The House of Abhinandan Lodha for The Sarayu in Ayodhya, a city that holds a special place in my heart.” The development, strategically located 15 minutes from the temple and a half-hour from the airport, is slated for completion by March 2028, featuring a five-star palace hotel.

Abhinandan Lodha, Chairman of HoABL, emphasized Bachchan’s role as the “first citizen” of The Sarayu, deeming his investment as a testament to Ayodhya’s global spiritual significance. Bachchan’s association is seen as a nod to the city’s economic potential and a recognition of its deep-rooted spiritual heritage.
