Historic Ram Temple Consecration Ceremony to Livestream at Times Square, New York

In an unprecedented global event, the consecration of the revered Ram Temple in Ayodhya is set to be telecast live at the iconic Times Square in New York City on January 22. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address devotees worldwide during this momentous occasion, marking the consecration of Ram Lalla.

The ceremony, steeped in Vedic rituals, will commence on January 16, culminating in the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony on January 22. PM Modi, dedicated to honoring religious protocols, is meticulously overseeing the preparations and seeking guidance on the rituals.

An intricately chosen 51-inch tall Krishna Shila idol of Lord Ram, symbolizing divinity and innocence, will be central to the ceremony. Prior to the Yagopavit sanskar, this idol will be displayed on a lotus-shaped platform within the Garbh Grah, alongside the current Ram Lalla statue termed “Utsav Ram.”

Additionally, the unveiling of the Lord Ram statue’s eyes will be conducted by PM Modi himself, signifying a sacred moment during the ceremony.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has pledged nationwide live broadcasts at booth levels, ensuring public participation and the opportunity for devotees to witness the consecration. Simultaneously, various Indian embassies globally will showcase the event, celebrating this significant milestone in India’s cultural heritage.
