Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, amidst the ongoing Enforcement Directorate (ED) summons regarding the Delhi excise policy case, asserts a commitment to transparency and accountability in governance.
In response to the third summons by the ED, Mr. Kejriwal highlighted concerns regarding the lack of specific grounds justifying the repeated summons. He raised crucial questions about the nature and scope of the inquiry, urging the agency to provide clarity and transparency.
“I stand firm on transparency in governance,” stated Mr. Kejriwal. “While I am committed to upholding the law, the summons lack substantiation and transparency, leaving crucial questions unanswered.”
The Chief Minister emphasized the need for the ED to respond to his earlier communications, seeking a clear understanding of the investigation’s intent and parameters.
Mr. Kejriwal reaffirms his dedication to ethical governance and awaits a comprehensive response from the ED to address the concerns raised.
