PM Modi Inaugurates ₹240-Crore Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway Station and Unveils Major Railway Developments
Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked a historic moment with the inauguration of the ₹240-crore Ayodhya Dham Junction railway station, unveiling a modern marvel equipped with elevators, escalators, food plazas, puja shops, and more. The station, an ‘accessible for all’ and ‘IGBC-certified green’ building, ushers in a new era of travel comfort and convenience.
In a monumental event, PM Modi flagged off two Amrit Bharat and six Vande Bharat Express trains, introducing enhanced passenger experiences. The Amrit Bharat trains boast non-air-conditioned coaches with superior amenities, while the Vande Bharat Expresses offer upgraded facilities on various routes.
Additionally, the PM dedicated three railway projects valued at ₹2,300 crore, reinforcing regional rail infrastructure. These projects promise to bolster connectivity and expedite travel across key sections.
Modi’s visit, ahead of the Ram Temple consecration, symbolizes a transformative phase for Ayodhya’s development. The inauguration signifies a significant stride toward modernizing travel experiences and fostering connectivity across Uttar Pradesh.
