“Man’s Racist Assault in NYC Cafe Leaves Two Teens Injured: Urgent Police Response Underway”
In a disturbing incident on Christmas morning, two teenage girls were viciously attacked at a cafe in Manhattan’s Grand Central Dining Concourse by a man spewing racist hate speech. Steven Hutcherson, 36, unleashed a frenzied assault, stabbing a 16-year-old girl in the back and injuring her lungs while also stabbing a 14-year-old in the thigh.
Hutcherson, who had a history of arrests and mental health concerns, reportedly entered Tartinery and began shouting, “I want all the white people dead. I want to sit next to the crackers.” This appalling attack follows a recent arrest in November where Hutcherson threatened to shoot a stranger in the Bronx.
The New York Police Department swiftly responded to the scene and apprehended Hutcherson, charging him with criminal possession of a weapon, menacing, harassment, and assault.
Both injured girls are currently receiving medical treatment, and our thoughts are with them and their families during this challenging time. The incident is under thorough investigation, emphasizing the urgent need for awareness and action against hate-fueled violence within our communities.
