Dravid’s extension, anticipated until at least the 2024 T20 World Cup in June, comes after a remarkable tenure marked by consistent excellence, despite narrowly missing ICC trophies. Expressing gratitude, Dravid acknowledged the trust and support of the BCCI and the unwavering commitment of his family amidst the demands of the role. His first challenge in this extended tenure commences with India’s tour of South Africa in December.
