A song on Shree ann or millets, that also features Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech, has officially been nominated for this year’s Grammy Awards in the Best Global Music Performance category. Written by Indian-American Grammy-winning singer Falguni Shah and her husband and singer Gaurav Shah, the ‘Abundance of Millets’ song highlights the nutritional value and health benefits of the super grain. A while ago, while releasing her song on You Tube, the singer had opened up on how she got the idea of writing a song about millets after her meeting with the Prime Minister for winning the Grammy award. Her post read, ‘The video for our single “Abundance in Millets” is out now. A song written and performed with honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi to help farmers grow millets and help end world hunger.
